no sound

Hi there i have no sound on chess.com when i move my pieces, there is nothing wrong with my other videos and such that make noise and my chess.com settings are set on sound on,  please help me get sound back thank you

Do you have the sound selected as 'default'. I tried different sounds via the board customization interface and "Default", "Newspaper" are not working. The browser error console is showing a 404 error. So I suspect the files for those sounds are unavailable.

Ok does support know about this?

I cant seem to play as well without the sound for some reason throws me off

The CDN the site uses is having an issue and there's a problem loading some sounds and images.

Yup, no sound and can't find a way to get it back.

Okay, I've been going nuts trying to figure it out. The default sound isn't working but all the other sounds seem to work. I don't care for them and after so many games on default thats all I am used to. I hope it clears up soon.

sound works on edge but i hope it get resolved soon..i would like to use my regular browser

I would guess this is a problem with lag. I have no problems with sound except sometimes when the wifi is slow.

+1 had sound yesterday, no sound today

No sound either - still not  sorted?

😄.  I feel your pain.  I lose more games every time I play on my phone, partially because I listen to my opponents pieces on the board.

I used my headphones 2 days ago, and it worked for a while.
