Notification sound in mobile

I liked it when I got the sound of the chess pieces from move to check and checkmate through my notifications via Android mobile.

After the last app update it just uses a standard smartphone notification.

Please bring back the piece move notification sounds.

Same! This just started happening to me. Is there a way to change it back? It's not even using the same system notification sound I have set up on the phone. 

Yes, I noticed this too.  You should ask your app creators to either use the system-wide default notification sound, or let us changed it inside the app.(Or a bit of both!)  I don't like the default notification sound it uses and it can't be changed right now(I use a Samsung android phone)

I messaged the developers and they said to just uninstall and reinstall the Chess.com app. That fixed the issue and returned the chess piece sound when an opponent plays a move.
