Opponent Time Kept Resetting to 0.1 Seconds

I tried to find a way to submit a ticket but couldn't find where to do it.

My last opponent ran out of time on their last several moves, but it repeatedly gave them 0.1 seconds and they continued to make moves until I ran out of time and gave them the win.

Please help as I'm not sure how to get this appealed and corrected.

Thanks,

Matthew

The client clocks are not the official clocks and will get updated after each move, which can include time being added back due to lag compensation:

If you look at the game via the archive, you'll likely see what the official clocks were.

My opponent made 5 moves in .5 seconds.

Shall we do the math on such phenomenal speed?

So yeah, no one is buying your copy and paste response to this issue.

Based on the past 15 years of posts about this issue, why not just say "Yeah, there are cheaters. We can't catch them all." That'd be infinitely better than claiming that some humans can just break the laws of physics.

Premoves take 0.1 second each, if a player is experiencing no significant lag. If it's the game I'm thinking it was, your opponent was shuffling their king with premoves. It's perfectly possible and done all the time. It wasn't as if your opponent had many options either.

If you had taken their last two pawns, even with sacrifice material, you would have likely flagged them and in the worst case, drawn if you ran out of time.

My opponent did not play a move at all and since the past 10 mins her time is seconds only....the clock is not decresing her time and declare me as the winner frustrated live playhand

You don't have any recent games

In my latest game today (10 minute game). My opponent was losing badly at the 5 minute point and so stopped moving their pieces as so many players do on this site when they think they are going to lose. The clock ran down to 0.001 of a sec then stopped. It is still my opponents move and I can't do anything. Any ideas as to what is going on? Thanks.

I just posted proof that it’s not lag as I recorded myself playing in a tournament which had the clock showing a count down by seconds. The clock never skipped a second but I was losing seconds and my opponent was gaining seconds. I lost about 30 games today because of it. Lost 200 points! I didn’t all of a sudden lose skill in a day. It’s not the internet because the clock never glitched. I wish they’d fix it but they’d have to admit it first. They keep saying it’s lag but it’s not.
