Outdated Browser

For a couple of weeks, when attempting to play "Live Chess", I received a message that I had an outdated browser.  I was using IE8, but according to Chess.Com I needed a newer version.

I upgraded to IE9 and am still receiving the same message.  Now who is outdated?

Hi! You can use IE8, but please make sure compatibility mode is disabled as it emulates IE7. Cheers

Thanks for your response.

I upgraded to IE9 and if I disable Compatability Mode the boards have no figures in Tactics Trainer and if I select to Play Live Chess it's a blank screen.

Guess I need to go back to IE8, but don't know how to do that.

You may need to un-install IE9 then install IE8.  IE versions will update to the next version but don't always like rolling back to a previous one.

Yeah, sorry about IE9. It is not yet ready for many complex applications. I think kohai is right you need to uninstall first.
