I have found computer screen to be convinient way to analyse games as it is done on CHESS.COM/Online Chess avaliable during the game. Is there avaliable such a software for PC, where I can place pieces as I wont and then analyse game or position, etc. Online Chess arrangement would be perfect if one can place pieces at will.

Try ChessBase Light or Arena. Both are free.

thank you. I just started ChessBase. It is impressive, but will take time to get used to it. Intricate!
