Phantom Mute Length

How long is a phantom mute? It's been maybe 40 minutes now and mine still hasn't resolved.

Usually it lasted for 5 hours

But you can chat a little bit sometimes

not the actual mute, the one where your messages max out

#9 yeah it's around what #7 said.. if it's a mute there'll usually a message from chess.com, but if there aren't any you need to go to help and support.

i mean it's when you post too many comments and you get a red banner when you try to post more, it's called a phantom mute because you don't get a message

#11 yeah I know, I've been phantom muted more than 15 times now. I'm saying that in a phantom mute it usually last from 1-10 hours but people's phantom mutes are for 5 hours. And if it's a normal mute it's what #10 said.
