Talk to support? idk. Could also be something with your device.

This was happening to me and I was searching it up and found this forum. I was playing pretty bad at first, like thinking I could sac my bishop to grab his unprotected bishop after delivering a check with my knight (move #7), but at move #16, me as white, it made me grab the knight, which I knew was protected. My opponent, @pgc93b, has a very hacker-like user.

Help

What do you mean by "hacker-like"?

If you have a mouse AND touchpad, see if your fingers drag across the touchpad.

I disable my touchpad because I'm always resting my hand on the touchpad.

Likely accidental premoves

Just happened to me. I was playing a bot and my bishop took a random pawn on its own, losing the bishop and forcing me into a bad position overall. It was not an accidental premove for sure because the bishop took on the other side of the board and I know my cursor did not go near there, as I was starting a queenside attack but the bishop took on the kingside. I know it was just a bot, but still bizzare.

This happened to one of my family members while I was watching a game, also just blundering a queen, which is suspicious enough, since the person was playing on PC, with his hands off the mouse, and a few seconds after the other guy moved, his queen moved right next to the enemy king. The other guy was acting suspicious enough, taking minutes between moves and returning with the weirdest strategy ever, is there a change that Chess.com might have been hacked?
