You're going to have to make up your own mind, but that would drive me crazy (OK, it's a short drive...). I think poor internet is the reason many folks end up playing "daily" chess. Get a couple dozen games going so you always have some action waiting for you when you log on. Unfortunately this is also why the ratings are a bit strange; some folks spend hours on a move, others just take seconds. Good luck whatever you decide!
Poor internet = Lost games

I don't have the best internet, and share it with a lot of other people in my building. Sometimes while I'm playing live games it'll freeze. I either refresh it or just wait, but very often by the time it reconnects I'm confronted with a lost game either from having "resigned" or "game abondoned". I don't want to have to get my own internet, is there something that can be done or should I just take it as a risk or stop playing live games?
