check in you option in the tools tab. make sure that firefox is not deleting your cookies when you close it out. also check your addons for any security extensions that may prevent java scripting from excuting such as NOSCRIPT or STEALTHER.

when i check the addons, it consistently says retreiving recommended add ons, but never lists any?

Make sure that your firewall on the computer or router is not blocking it.

in options, privacy tab, enable accept cookies from sites, enable accept 3rd party cookies. keep until they expire.

in private data, uncheck clear when closing firefox. settings uncheck all boxes and then restart firefox and try to login

I have gone through all of this. I checked Mozilla's support forums, Seems alot of people are having problems with FF 3 and Windows Vista. FF wont even load Mozilla's addons page!  Go Figure! Looks like ill roll back to FF 2 or Stick with IE for a while till they get rid of the bugs.

I've got a weird similar case. Safari has weird text where the advanced tournament options are. On Firefox it works just fine.

Try this:

Uninstall Firefox, then download a fresh copy from their website and install it. I run on the latest version of Firefox with no add-ons. It's fine for me. Just uninstall and install a fresh copy.
