Same here. I have had this issue happen to me a few times too. Its weird how it glitches in the app but not on desktop. I would recommend submitting a ticket on this if you haven’t done so.
Actually the app is very frustrating. I don’t know how to do a ticket there? Actually I say this reply just now because I decided to go through the browser. On the app it was impossible to find this ticket and now I connect on the browser and it’s a notification… I décidé to go through the browser just now because this issue happened yet again and I’m tired of it. Also, I noticed that the app always has animation which make me much slower to begin with. A big disadvantage compare to the browser! Wth is this?! Come on chess.com this is basic app programming issue… I’ll definitely make an official issue if I find out how. But I’m now stopping using the app.

It really is. I tried to view a team match challenge in the app and it just takes me to the homepage, not the team match page. I would email support@chess.com about this issue.
It has happen a few time to me on the app now. I play puzzle battle and even if I succeed, the score stays at 0. This is very annoying as I simply lose the game and a tone of ELO. I have a proof of the last time it happened. Should I ditch the app to get an actual reliable gameplay? I did not have this problem ever when playing on the website, before going to the app.
