Puzzle rush survival record

I just broke my record in puzzle rush. Made 60 without failing. Why is it not showing correctly? Can someone help me please?

Is there a tournament schedule with a defined position (mandatory type of opening)?

Is a puzzle rush, has nothing to do with tournaments or openings. I don't know why you ask that.

Check it again later. That may not update in real time.

Fascinating how you got that record, man.

But I guess you’ll never be able to read my comment.

I do puzzles almost every day if I can. That rush I spent all the time I needed per puzzle until I was sure of the solution. Also I think I was lucky with the puzzles I got, they were easy in truth. Sadly chess.com didn't update my record.

Me, too.

I also do puzzle rush. The most puzzles I got were 16 in 3 minutes but I lost of time…

I just realised the same thing happened to me too, my record was from September 8th so it's not just a matter of time but some sort of bug.

I made a bug report and they answered that they know the bug and are working on it.

Oh good, hopefully it gets patched soon.

Same thing happened to me also, I broke my record and now my top score must be 56 but it is still 45, old score. I wrote support about it , they wrote to clear browers cache , I did it but did not work.

I spent over 3 hours today calculating every line meticulously and scored 55 today on survival, Yesterday I scored 52 and 55 the day before that. My account still shows 51 as my highest score in one place and 55 in another and I haven't seen any of the scores on the daily high score chart although I'm not that bothered as I have my own goals. I've asked chess.com to explain. Perhaps there is a time limit. Hoping I can get the time down to an hour whilst maintaining the level so I can be just as thorough in real matches. I like to calculate all the lines before playing the first move even for the low rated puzzles which sometimes have complex sidelines so maybe I'll have to stop doing that...

Ok, I've received a reply from chess.com who have confirmed they can see my puzzle rush survival scores as above however I think I should have been a little more specific with my question. I've aimed for speed the last few days scoring some mid-40's scores with ease which appeared in the high score charts for everyone. However today's score of 51 didn't so it does appear if you score 51 or more (perhaps 50) you don't get added to the global or friend score charts unless you're a titled player. I must have scored 51 before this rule was introduced as my high score on my friends list appears as 51. Maybe I'll just have to content myself with going for speed. At least it takes less time and spending half an hour calculating every line in a 3000 rated puzzle is probably not helping my chess for real games. Crazy thing was there was a 1100 rated endgame puzzle today with 3 minor pieces v queen I spent the longest calculating - the lines were forcing but the puzzle went on for about 8 moves - crazy for such a low rated puzzle.

The 24hour leaderboard for puzzle survival only ever has 1-3 people who score 50 with 90% of them being masters. However, the number of people scoring 49 is always over 25 and is probably far higher because you can't see more than 50 scores and usually the 50th high score is a 49. Of these 49 scores 90% of people are usually not masters. This should strike anyone as odd. Another way of looking at it is why are 95% of people failing their 50th puzzle? Well, actually they're not but if you're not a master you only have about a one in 20 chance of your score of 50 or over appearing on the leader board. These occasional exceptions to the bug may help to explain why the bug is occurring. So far chess.com have told me there should be no reason why people's scores of 50 or above do not show on the leader board.

Number 25 is the rare exception. I contacted two such exceptions and had one reply. He said he wasn't a master and was just an ordinary player. His game ratings were similar to mine. The other didn't reply and was probably a master who hadn't told chess.com about their title as their game scores were amazing.

That is definitely the case. I got another 50+ score today (53 in 5 mins) and the score isn't showing once again. I will probably send staff another email, but I've been complaining about this for months with no result, so I'm not hopeful. I would even be willing to play on camera if it would prove to chess.com I'm legitimate.

i have the same stats: Personal best 60 and top score at 49 :/

I think the more of us report this bug and keep nagging staff about it, the more likely it is to be fixed ASAP.

I encourage anyone else experiencing this issue to either report the bug using the official feature, or to email support@chess.com
