I like your theory - that is truly an unexplored hypothesis regarding zombies.  So you see post-apocalyptic zombies as a race of hideously mutated Oscar Wildes' or something?   If not antagonistic - how do you see them relating to the few remaining 'normals'?

Well this is something of a moot point. They could in some respects be admired for their relentless appreciation of chintz. On the other hand this could spell trouble in the clash of minds which would inevitably result. Given that if Hollywood is correct- and it generally is- then the more macho element would rise to the fore and it must be assumed that Wildean wit would be no match for extreme firepower.

Well, in defense of Charlton Heston, Will Smith, Vincent Price, and all other 'Omega Men' - they were beset by brain-eating killer zombies and so I feel their replies were understandable, if severe.   I would contend that they can make a valid claim of self-defense.   That's why I wonder how these mutant Oscar Wildes' would attempt to reach out to the remaining normals - perhaps they would extend an olive branch.   Perhaps they could arrive at a somewhat mutually advantageous situation - if not true symbiosis.

However the heterogenous nature of such a society would be so finely balanced, taste lines would be drawn. Fine net curtains vs mud wrestling, "Lady Windmeres fan" against "Rambo". These are immutable points and could lead to serious tantrums on one side and unspeakable bad taste on the other.

I think c_pawn have a point, between zombies and trolls, wich one you prefer to live with after the end of the world?

I live in lincolnshire (if you've seen "Deliverance" you'll get my drift) so I'm fairly well acquainted with trolls. So I think I'd give zombies a try, they'd struggle around here however - brains are woefully scarce.

Where I live there is a lot of voodoo and "santeria" so there is lots of zombies arround. The thing about the brain is all a stereotype, and arround this area that is consider racims to make that kind of remarks about zombies and brains. The same with the jokes about dancing like Michael Jackson, but some of them actually do the dance (it takes some time to train them but it totally worth it).

Zombies are also hard workers. And they belive by 2012 there is going to be a zombie president. I personally think we ready had a couple of those, but it seams if is not 100% zombie it doesn't count.

What some people don't like about them is that they keep awake all nigth long making noises and screaming, and also they think it is fun or something tu punch the windows and breake them.

It is also sad when people don't want their zombies any more and abandon them, we have a shelter for rescue and abused zombies, some of them spend days on the stree before we get to find them, some of them even get hit by a car or something. Some humans are the worst kind of monsters.

Zombies make good pets if you are interested in adopting a zombie let me know, we even have a couple that enjoy to play chess (one of them likes the fry liver atack the other one preffers it raw).
