Yes... if it's stated clearly in the title and used in unrated games, there won't be any quarrels... I think there are even engine or centaur tournaments on here, from time to time.

Is it permitted to play computer games vs. friends, when it is agreed upon in advance. Im thinking about unrated games, online chess, clearly expressed computer game in the game title etc.
I've made my own chess-computer, and I know some1 who would like to test it. How do I go forward without getting in trouble. Is it permitted?
