I tried linking both the accounts but it has led to some inconsistencies.
If you see the susam account page, you'll find two friends that earlier belonged to the SusamPal account. SusamPal account now has 0 friends. This is good. This indicates that the friends list has been moved from SusamPal to susam as a result of the linking process. This is what I wanted.
However, if you see my friend's profile, you'll see that he still has the SusamPal account as his friend. Why this inconsistency?

What you are saying seems to contradict what I am saying. If you read my comment above, you'll see that my friends list has been automatically moved from SusamPal account to susam account after the merge. Earlier SusamPal had 2 friends and susam had 0 friends. Now, susam has 2 friends and SusamPal has none.
But if you click on susam's friends (e.g. prunthaban), you'll see that they still have SusamPal as their friend? Could you please explain this?
Those two accounts were both opened in 2009, neither show as being merged with any other account though.
@kohai, What do you say about the observation that prunthaban's profile lists SusamPal as a friend but SusamPal has 0 friends? Is that possible in the chess.com application?
I don't remember exactly what I did about a year ago but now I've ended up with two accounts:
The first one seems to be linked to my Facebook. The second one is something I had created myself on chess.com website a long time ago.
Now, I want to remove the first account and continue to use the second one as my actual account. If possible, I want to get the second one linked to my Facebook account. How can I do this?
