I am Nipon...new in chess.com

I have some problems here....basically I didnt aborting a game....when my opponent are getting lost the aborting the game...some time before starting game is aborted automaticaly...but there is a restriction of 5 min over me for aborting game...aborting game is not my fault...why then a restriction for me???can any one help me to get ride of this problem???it will be a great help....does any one give me any sugestion to get ride of this problem???

The server has no really good way of assigning "fault" for aborted games (whether you closed your browser window, unplugged your network cable or had a power/Internet outage is often difficult if not impossible to discern).

Ultimately, though, it doesn't really matter.  The reason for the aborts is kind of besides the point, they cause an inconvenience for your opponents and generally dilute the quality of play on the live server regardless of cause.  In this context, being penalized for "poor stability" by having your ability to initiate new games restricted is wholly appropriate.

i didnt close my browser,didnt unplugged my net cable....even my internet network is enough strong for this game....I can understand this for the game sprite....but when my oponents are aborting game,what necessery steps taken for them???sometimes I click NEW GAME button...it show me that a game is starting...but when I make my move...a txt shown to me that the game is aborted....whether,is there any other option to solve this problem?????

You will not be penalized for those aborts. Those occur if the opponent doesn't wish to play and clicks 'abort' before his first move or sometimes the network will abort the game if the connection is poor. You are only penalized for aborting during a played game. If you wish to quit a game click the 'resign' button. This way you are not penalized for aborting the game.

Thnx...Capt Jack...but I didnt aborting any game...yeah sometime i resign games...but not too much...anyway,could u tell how long the penelty will activeted????
