Subscription Issues

Its been three days since I bought premium membership from the chess.com app, but I am STILL a basic member which means I get multiple stupid ads asking me to become premium when I already PAID the premium membership through my phone (payment CONFIRMED by apple and bank). I cannot have any decent analysis for anything, any feature or anything whatsoever, knowing that I PAID for this services. I wrote to chess.com support three days ago as well and I still have no answer.

Please help!!!

App purchases take some manual intervention by staff. It can take a little time to be applied and support has been getting a lot of tickets, so it could take a while for them to respond through that channel.

I closed my account on chess.com and then I came to regret my decision and wanted it reopened. While waiting for support to answer me on reopening my closed account I changed my apple ID (email) since I didn’t have access to my previous email I had to create a new ID(email). Support eventually contacted me and asked if I wanted my account reopened on my newly created email account, but I told them No, I could stay on my current created account with my new email linked to it. After awhile i clicked the free trial to get my premium account but I was still offered a free trial even after accepting one.

I think my membership went to my old account because in my apple subscription it says i have membership when I really don’t. I was able to buy a membership on my new account, and the way I was able to do that was to purchase it via web not via phone (apple). I logged into their site with my new account/email and then I was able to get my membership.

You'll want to open a ticket with support on that one, to get a refund, just in case. Just be clear what the account and Apple ID is so they don't accidentally refund this one.
