I've tried the same thing using another tournament game from back in 2012; and IT doesn't show up either.
It's a real aggravation to have these thematic games not show up as it really puts a damper on using that tool to study my performance vs. specific openings.
I'm not really sure. What version of the site are you trying on?
It is possible that newer games won't show as the PGN no longer shows the initial moves and just starts at the FEN position (in v3 anyway). That may not have been accounted for either.
I'm in V2. I've tried a recent thematic game; and a game from way back when (2012 or 2013).
You should probably check in v3.
I know that game imports used to be an issue in v2, for the database, and logging into v3 would import the missing games. Not sure on the current status there.
It seemed to me that I had played more games in thematic tournaments than what was turning up in Game Explorer; so I checked by using Game Explorer and mirroring in the explorer a very recent game I played that was a thematic tournament. I made the moves tit for tat in the Explorer that were made in the thematic game; and it didn't come up.
Do thematic games not show in the game explorer? Does it take some time for these games to show up?
