Resolved: tournement rating

I'm playing in Chess.com Tournament (1401-1600) - Round 1

and in the group one player has a rating of 1940 !??

How come and what is the rules if a player has a higer rating then the group?

That is all the site can do. Only players with unreliable ratings can do well in an official tournament with your ratings range.

this is really BS.. players rated over 2000 wins the 1400-1600 group..

there is a better system : not allowing players to join tournement until they have 50 games.. and the rating in the last 90 days will be the one they can join the defferent groups..

this is my last chees.com "official" tournement..
