HI! I have a really stupid question.  What's the best way to use chess.com for playing someone in the same room? So, not for playing online, simply to use a chessboard where both players can take turns to make their moves.  I know about Learn - Analysis, but don't want the game analysed by the computer at the same time.  Thanks!

Just turn off the analysis.

The analysis can only be reduced to "0 lines", however, an evaluation of each position (+0.35) etc cannot be turned off.

Right.  Just found the "hide" button! :-) Thanks for your help.

Play vs Computer, on the app, change both players to human and turn off any settings you don't want .

Unless you are on a full PC, then the analysis board would work.

Playing each other "face-to-face" over an actual board? What a crazy idea but it just might work. Someone should probably crowd source this.
