And the site will continue to modify things. I already think v3 is as good as or better than v2 was for anything that I do on the site (just a bit slower at times and that can be optimized some). Just recently got access to the very last thing that I was still going to v2 for so I won't have to switch again (unless I'm testing something).
Now, that doesn't mean everyone will like the changes but if history of the site shows anything, it shows that they continually seek to improve it. Keep proving feedback, bug report things that don't work correctly, and thing will very likely improve.
can any staff explain the bug that turns vids into topics posted in here? more importantly, how has this bug not been addressed for days, and, when can users expect normal functionality?

when do we get a message delete button?
Already exists. I delete messages all the time. You click the X at the upper-right of any message. At least on the website. On the app you can archive threads.
Where is the (very well hidden) icon in V3 to request a rematch when you have completed a Blitz game, say Game in 5/5?
After 20+ mouse clicks and perusing the Help Section, I'm still not able to locate the "rematch?" button.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Please tell me how to restore my list of "setting options" to a ribbon along the top of my screen, instead of along the left hand side of the screen. Can't seem to find the switch that toggles me back to having these along the top, instead of having them (much smaller) and along the left hand side of the screen.
Thanks for your help.
@Zborg: Don't know where the rematch button is, but the Top Menu button is on the lower left hand side of the screen.
Thanks kindly. Your suggestion worked.
But if you hover your mouse over that icon, IT SAYS NOTHING, about letting you toggle back to the TOP MENU.
100 mouse clicks later, you quickly solved my problem, but the fix remains counter-intuitive, to say the least.
And you wonder why the internet is designed to keep you inside their chess-ecosystem.
Thanks again for the fix. Much appreciated.
Ditto with me getting back to playing Chess on V3. Since that's my only real choice. HA!

......
What browser are you on? I hovered over it and it says Menu at Top. Also, if you have the menu at the left and it is expanded (which can be done by clicking the Expand option when it is collapsed) , it says Top Menu
One thing to note, the icon doen't appear in Live since only the left menu is available there.

Immediately after the game ends, it is in the game completion dialog:
It also shows in the Game Chat
can anyone explain the red banner that states "request failed due to status code 503" that i get often? it basically gets rid of all alerts.
Might be related to server overload. Found this on the web:
"The HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 503 Service Unavailable server error response code indicates that the server is not ready to handle the request.
Common causes are a server that is down for maintenance or that is overloaded. This response should be used for temporary conditions and the Retry-After HTTP header should, if possible, contain the estimated time for the recovery of the service."
Today I watched IM Dan R. discussing the new Chess.com "Classic Interface."
Massive number of clicks and light show presentation on why V3 is now being made to look more like V2 -- for our "tenured users," apparently.
It was a 25-minute blizzard of computer geek, sorry to say, as the site continues to mimic FACEBOOK.
IM Danny gets an "A" for effort. But so much extraneous detail. It drowns you.
