i'm now getting alerts for games that are over. "check your game with..."

this should not happen.

I'm regularly getting alerts from the Royal Span Society, for no apparent reason.

But there's nothing to adjust in my "settings and alerts." It's all rather confusing.

Check your chat in those games. I believe you'll get that if there is a new chat message. It may also be possible you'll get that if someone comments on the game, but I've never tested that.

happening again in another finished game. no, there was no chat. there was cc alerting me to a game that was over. continuous alerts where i thought the opponent had written something.

i just challenged a member here with the game title, "watch out for my knights...".

a popup read that there were unacceptable characters in the title.

i have to tell 'ya, cc, if the word "knights" makes chess players cry, they should probably not be here.

if the three periods after the game title makes cc cry, they should reboot.

can any staff member explain how uploading pics rotates them? here is the example 

while i have rotated pics to post here, cc never gets it right. and, i am not whistling dixie. i have rotated the squirrel pic every way, and, it never posts correctly. i compare it to emails where it is received as captured. 

how is it that you allow personal pictures, but then rotate them?

uploading pics is a pain in the ass. we never know how it will be displayed. 

this is a simple function. fix it.

I just tried with your pic Al and it posted correctly...did you save the rotated version on your machine before uploading it?

yes, and since you were able to post it correctly, i'm now wondering if it is somehow operator error.

in groups, why is there no function to search for topics we've started, as there is on our home page with "my activity"?

having had to scroll through many pages in a group's topics i also noticed that there is a quote bubble next to topics where i have posted. 

and then there are not the quote bubbles in topics where i know i have posted. even topics i have started. 

ffs, is it too much to ask that cc is consistent? 

when i look back on this topic, and see issues, concerns, etc., i see some feedback from staff but no solutions. this was started over a year ago, and some basic functionality has still not been addressed.

i would like to point out that this topic has not received any response from staff in over a year.
