Vulgar Adds
Not neccisarily. I had a similar experience like 5 years ago.
It depends on the demographic of the site, the site I was on had a demographic of mainly male (history forum) teens and adults, and so several dating website ads came up although I of course had never used or clicked on any such thing.

I have my net connection problems ,at times my net automatically disconnects and therefore my running games result into abandonment of the games, I find myself helpless to reconnect in time, I have been penalized by the administration for this , please note that I never abandon games intentionally every body including the administration may please excuse me for same, thanks ...

This explains why i get a lot of bacon ads...

Best advice I can give you is to ditch your current browser and install Firefox.
Then install the following plugins:
Set up chess.com to always open in a specific account container, for example one called "chess".
Those three plugins combined should result in you not seeing any ads, but for what you do see, they can only be influenced by the cookies generated from your chess container not from other sites.
There are a bunch of other plugins I would also recommend for taking further control of your privacy online. If you're inclined, you can read about them all in "Step 4" here.
