I can't see yours. What is different about it?

I agree... this new format sucks. I relied on my library database quite a bit. WTF? Bring it back. Navigating in "collections" really sucks... I used to be able to search for opponents etc ... this.just.sucks.
Try to access a game in a library. You won't be able to.
Hmm. I pulled up a game without a problem

That has NO resemblance to the old collections. It is analysis (or something) NOT collections. Collections was a database where you could store multiple collections of games.

Library Collections are becoming part of the Analysis board. I'm able to load games in my collections.
The same features are there
"The same features are there." << Not so!. No resemblance to the old collections. If you can see a version before the update you will see this. I had hundreds of games stored that I can't access now.

I may not have much of anything to contribute to this discussion, but before the release of the Chesscom Library Feature,( https://www.chess.com/article/view/chess-com-releases-library-feature ), Chesscom only had the Save Anaylsis Feature ( https://support.chess.com/en/articles/8618597-how-do-i-save-an-analysis ).
I'm curious, did you save your games and store them into a Library Collection or did you just save your games into Saved Analysis ( https://www.chess.com/analysis/saved ).
why ?
When the Chesscom Library Feature first rolled out, I deleted the Saved Analysis Library Collection and completely messed up my Library.

I haven't seen any issues loading any of my saved collections in the new process.

I’ve invested a huge amount of hours organizing my games in libraries and I’m really lost after the transition to Collections. I’ve been searching for information that would explain what’s happening, but I can’t find much. On the website I can’t find what I’m looking for, I couldn’t even find a basic description of what the changes are that they made. Also on the forum I couldn’t find any answers. There aren’t even many topics about this, apparently it’s not an issue for most players. But for me it feels like a total collapse of the system. There must be something that I’m missing but I don’t know what it is. There’s an answer in here, but I have no idea what it is.
Library Collections are becoming part of the Analysis board.
This statement sounds truly confusing to me. I have no idea what this means, neither figuratively nor literally. Can you elaborate on what you mean?
Libraries were the place to store my games, game analyses and annotations after I was done working them on the analysis board. The Analysis Board was my playground to analyze games, to experiment as I pleased and work on different lines or ideas. Meanwhile, the PGNs in my collections remained unchanged, unless I reopened them for further analysis. My main issues seem related to the transition of making Library Collections part of the Analysis Board.
Timestamps
Timestamps are gone. For all live games and their analyses in my collections the timestamps are constantly getting removed. So far I haven’t found a way to prevent it from happening. In one of your reactions that I found in another thread you’ve already stated that timestamps will no longer be shown in Game Analysis. That would require opening the actual game in another tab any time you want to know the time on the clocks? My struggle isn’t just viewing the timestamps in the Analysis Board, it looks like the timestamps are completely removed from the PGNs after each save.
Browsing collections
Another challenge that stands out to me is how to navigate within a collection, compared to how libraries worked. For example: There’s a collection by Sam Copeland that’s called “The Best Chess Miniatures”, which contains a collection of almost 1000 chess games. How to find what you’re looking for in a collection of that size?
On my laptop I found a screengrab image that I made that shows a sample of the games in that collection. It's random, not aimed to illustrate the full picture but it’s good enough to show the difference.
The games in the collection were sorted by number of moves, that’s why all games shown are all the same number of moves. Ordering them this way made it easier to find the game I was looking for this time. But on other occasions I had sorted them based on the year the game was played. Keeping track of which games I had already checked before and which games I hadn’t checked yet is also easier.
When I opened one of my libraries, a table would appear on the center of my screen showing me a chunk of the collection, which I could sort by clicking on any of the available columns.
In the new layout the collection is
The new layout puts all emphasis on showing me a chessboard. The game that was added most recently is already showing you a preview. Collapsing the view of the game first is required before you can even notice any list at all. Even at my 90% zoom rate you can only see 6 games at a time in the sidebar.
How am I supposed to navigate this collection? I see no other option than simply clicking on each single game one by one until I’ve seen them all, but I can’t imagine that’s the answer.
It’s unclear how these changes are supposed to work. Managing collections of games feels so much harder now than before, hopefully there are better ways to manage them that I haven’t heard of. I’m open to suggestions. There must be, otherwise you wouldn’t say the features are the same.
Regardless of specific answers, I would also like to learn more about the idea behind the changes as well. Collections clearly have been designed for a way of working that’s different from mine. How am I supposed to use collections to reap the full benefit if the new design?
I'll try and work through your post later, but there is a search, when you load a collection.

You can use that to search information on the game. Player names work for sure

Timestamps data is still there, but you have to Toggle Charts to see it.

Also, when you download the PGN, be sure to select include the timestamps.

My personal chess database is worthless now. It appears as part of an analysis page and no longer functions as a database/collection.
