When is a day?

I know it used to be rolling, but I thought this was recently changed so that it updates on a set hour now. Now I just do them whenever I can in the morning or afternoon, and I have no problem getting in my 3 problems/day.
The rolling system was horrible; you either had to set an alarm, and make sure did them on the spot, or lose time on the clock. Even then, you would still lose the 2-5 minutes it took to complete the problems, so it was never really 3 problems/day with the old system.
I was wondering when the "day" counter for the tactics trainter reset (you know, the one that says that you can only do 3 puzzles per day). Is it at midnight your time zone? Midnight at the server's time zone? Some other arbitrary time? This isn't really an urgent question but it would be interesting to find out.
