i won a game and my rating didnt change and the game isnt in my game history.

ALSO,

the very next game… my opponent moved first, then he abandoned the game. it shows i resigned the game and i lost points.. i NEVER even touched my mouse after he moved.

What the hell is this trash

i do not. his name had like 8 random numbers at the end. but thats just 1 issue.

id really like to understand how my opponent can abandon the game after his first move, yet it shows i resigned then i lose points, after not even touching my mouse.

most mysterious thing ive ever experienced

The latter indicates a connection issue between your client and the live server process. With a higher disconnect/abandonment/abort rate, as a percentage of recently completed games, that will result in a rated loss instead of just an abort.

I see an abandonment loss to a member that looks like the name you're describing.

Just lost another game by abandonment..... 10/0 game I had 2 minutes 15 seconds and opponent had 1 minute 10 seconds.

I’m literally thinking for 30 seconds on what move to make and it force auto abandons for me. Honestly wtf. I posted about this a month ago.

What’s the point of having time on a clock if the site is going to force abandon me? Am I not allowed to think for 30 seconds before moving?

In the past month I’ve “lost” 15-20 games due to forced abandonment when I have plenty of time on my clock.

My internet connection is fine

why are my games force abandoning me and forcing a loss for no reason when i have plenty of time left on my clock? would love an answer.
bout to cancel my membership after 4 years, pretty unfortunate.

It could be any number of things, most of which are between the client and the site. One member had an issue with their router that was causing disconnects that didn't otherwise impact most other sites.

and my internet is insane, it doesn't disconnect ever, certainly not frequently enough to cause abandons only on this site. sounds like a website problem.
