Withdraw from Group

I am contemplating to withdraw from a group (I am in too many groups). However, I am currently participating in a team match of this group that has not been completed yet. My games are finished though. Would my withdrawal from the group impact my team match or would my result still stand?

I'm fairly sure you could even leave a group DURING a Team Match, and that game will carry on unaffected - just don't resign the game as you leave.
