I get frozen a lot in 5 mins, offer draw and it seem to start clocks again

One more question, does it depend on whether you have "confirm every move" on? I'm using that option on the iPad and that's where the freezes happen. I believe it didn't happen when I didn't use "confirm every move" but it could be a coincidence. If it's related, it could help the bug fixers.

CC makes claim it is an iOS bug.

It is not.

It is a server issue. App users at max capacity find their games stopped. You are not disconnected - swipe to close the app and reopen. The game resumes.

We’ve been told for many days - a “fix” submitted to Apple. Nada ... no update of the App. Why? Because it’s an issue with the servers reaching max capacity- App users the 1st to suffer the consequences. Prove me wrong CC. Where is this promised “fix” in the store ?

My iOS App works just great ! I love it. The best chess playing experience. No problems at low traffic times. Soon as peak times occur/ heavy traffic- every game constantly freezes with the clock stopping.

Swipe the app to close and reopen- the game starts back up. Sound like a “bug” or a server issue ?

I really hope CC gets this fixed. We’ve been told in public and private various stories. I’ll suggest honesty to be the best policy.

The site has already submitted a new version of the iOS app to Apple and it should be released soon, if it hasn't already.

App has frozen on me multiple times , I assume this is heavy traffic - chess.com - pull your finger out and respond to all these posts - it’s unacceptable flaw in your product

Staff are working in fixing it and there are a lot of topics all over the forums about the problem. Last I saw, the final fix was being tested and likely will be submitted to Apple sometime this week.

 

Staff may post in a couple of the more popular topics but won't hit every one (there are probably at least a hundred)

Last straw.

Have the latest build. Performed all iPhone maintenance.

Just played a game- make a move and the Same issue. 
This is total bs by CC

It is your issue CC. Your servers are inadequate. iOS app users find their games disrupted as your servers can not meet peak demands. Stop lying to us - that this is a bug in the App and not your problem.
