No, I have not... and I am not planing on doing so...
I much rather find me a different website than file a report.
I already activated my account at chesstempo, it looks like the place I will migrate to if this website decided to continue with badly written algorithms to police me and punish me.
I know the creator of chess.com is of liberal ideas, of the left if you will.. his efforts to create a more inclusive, more diverse community are resulting in pure machine dictatorship. Or the how a well minded guy created a mean evil machine.
I am staying in chess.com for a while more, If I stop posting please asume that the Artificial Intelligence did indeed terminated me.

Software has bugs. Especially in areas that are rarely tested or weren't considered. Whether this is one or not I have no idea, but bugs in any software certainly don't get fixed when nobody reports them.

unsure if it's a case of insufficient reports or just priority assignment. looks like more effort is going into new features that nobody really asked for. if you haven't already, and are truly interested, do go through @AlCzervik's threads. the op's had an account here since 2012. people don't get disillusioned for no reason.
btw, more importantly, get your flair today!

The name of this forum is Help&Support
Is it unreasonable for me to expect somebody on the staff to read?
Otherwise, why there is a Help and Support forum if not to kind of... help and support users?
If they are not reading this, do they read support tickets? or should I write a letter and deposit it on the "Suggestions Box"?
The Machine Learning Algorithm sure is reading everything...
If it have an alarm for some words to punish users it sure should have an alarm for some other words like "question" and "help" to alert staff about an user in need.

I think this forum is seen as a starting point where other members may be able to help answer problems they have faced and had resolved .

That @AlCzervik's looks to have the right idea... let me try the line that got censored but changing words accordingly to his system:
"A machine learning algorithm punish me because it decided that I was not nice enough to a computer.
The next step will be an Artificial Intelligence computer to sentence people for RAP E because it consider people did not obtain proper con sent before having Six Eigth Xis with a robot."
Lest see if this works... fingers cross...

I am trying to increase the number of messages in this forum, the thinking here is that if a discussion gets big enough eventually someone will look into it...
I am starting to think they fired all the staff and replaced them with a big ugly machine.
Tell me your honest opinion... if I open a ticket, you think a person will read it or you think it will just get processed by an algorithm, accordingly to some line of code?
<?
$status-count = (SEARCH number-of-time FROM banned-accounts WHERE name = $account-name);
if ($status-count < 3)

$action = ban(lift);
$message = "Reviewing your case we decided to lift your ban this time, please play nice to others so your account is not found in fault again. Help us keep freedom and fun.";
} else {
$action = ban(LOL);
$message = "Thanks for submitting this support ticket, one of our staff members will review your case and be in contact with you about a decision.";
}
do $action;
print $message;

htdavid I'm beginning to think that addressing this in the Chess.com Community forum would enable you to reach a wider audience giving you more response.

Everyone gets to that point. Eventually. I think the strategy is if they annoy you enough, eventually you will leave.

I have consider this option too...
As I am not a paying member, maybe I am being perceive as some form of freeloader, or even a leech...
I would like to think I bring something else besides money... after all I even got a little trophy called "Participant" where it says i am part of the community...

But probably that is worth nothing... and it is all about $$$
The other option is that a guy wrote documents with such silly names as "Sportsmanship Policy" and "Community Guidelines".
He made sure this documents where vague enough that they can mean anything or everything, and then he codded his personal moral values into a program and run this program to impart punishment to everybody that is perceive to have commit a violation.

You might have to start playing people...... and I don't mean online. Real flesh and blood people sitting across the board from you.
The basic premise behind an 'anti bad sportsmanship' algorithm is flawed. You can't 'teach' machines concepts like "sportsmanship" and morality. You can't impart the idea of right and wrong, or good and evil, to computer software. These are purely the constructs of the human condition. Only living beings can experience emotions, and emotion is what informs our principles of good and bad behavior. Oh, they may create very sophisticated programs that seem to 'feel' and understand and interact with us like real people, but we all know, in our 'heart of hearts' it's a sham. It's just a bunch of code, ones and zeros. The IBM computer may have beat it's human opponents in Jeopardy, but I didn't see the thing jumping for joy over it's victory. It might just as well have been doing somebody's taxes. And it certainly didn't give me a 'warm and fuzzy' feeling to see the machine triumph.
While Chess.com may be well intentioned with their 'bad sportsmanship' policy, the software will inevitably target some good people and miss some of the bad ones. People that run things like web-based businesses and social networks keep trying to solve problems by writing software. In truth, there is no other way to do it. How many millions of people would Facebook need to actually read through everything thing that's posted, trying to catch 'extremists'? Too many to be practical. So they write software. Did you hear about the terrorist wanted for war crimes that was driving for Uber for months? Somehow, he slipped through there stringent screening software......
Perhaps you should take a break from this stupid website and internet junk and take up gardening, or maybe read a book. Try Beneath the Wheel by Hermann Hesse. I think you'll like it......
Immerse oneself in theoretical physics and mathematics. It is a truly enjoyable experience, one in which comprehension may seem like an insurmountable task, yet it is ever so rewarding. Being equipped with an unquenchable curiosity will alter everything you initially believed about yourself. Embark on the intellectual conquest, whether you are 37 or 137.

Please read my second post on page 1... no everybody is comfortable in social situations as you are.

I actually do not mind that a machine judge if humans show "sportsmanship". However I have 2 problems with the way the current machine is working:
1. It is analyzing "sportsmanship" on games play against the computer, this should not be... because the computer can't be offended, or insulted or frustrated as a human. "sportsmanship" should not aply to games with the computer.
2. This rules look like the coding of a moral standard more than actual rules for good play... and we do have rules for good play such as the FIDE rules for game.

I do not have a FaceBook Account... I invite you to guess why...
As a matter of fact this account I am using right now in chess.com is not my oldest account, I do have an account that is a year older, the reason why I dropped that account and migrated to this new account is because the only way to login to that other account is by logging into FaceBook first. And as I leave facebook and was not able to un-link the chess account from FaceBook then I had to to create a new chess account that login using password.
I don't mind the automation of the service, what I criticize about it is how poorly written this algorithms are. If a human was this dumb I will criticize it too. Either way, if they decide to go for machine or for human they need to get good quality machine or good quality human.

I don't know if this is a joke or if you are being serious here...
The red notes are my answers.

It probably happened because when you were playing against real people, they said you were a bad sport, and the staff only just noticed it a day ago. You did say people treat you badly, right?
Please look at the screenshot I attached. I do not play against real people. All my Opponents are different numbers of Komodo, that is the name of the computer.
I have not play a human 2 days ago, I have not play a human 2 weeks ago, I have not play a human 2 months ago...
"On top of that, your last proper opponent wasted their Queen, and you just took it, and some people don't really like that."
I don't know what game was that? it was against Komodo? the computer is program to make blunders depending on the level it is set to play.
Umm... all my info is correct...

I'm sure staff read posts here, it's just normally read by other members and answered by them.
I know others have had issues with getting restrictions based on playing the engines in Live. I'm sure others have reported it and I also submitted it as a report the day you posted this forum. Can't guarantee it will help, but I can't imagine a reason why games against the official engine account shouldn't be excluded from those checks.

The thing is that you came with a bunch of theories about why this could have possible happens. If I recall correctly you even said that I could have get punished for resigning games? Other member said that can actually be consider good sportsmanship... so... I got ban from Live Chess because I didn't resign a lost game?
Did I got ban because somebody blunder a queen and I took it? Is is bad sportsmanship to win? I really would like to know game was that, like what date? I have not play people in a long long time... someone reported me 10 years ago and the staff just toke action today? that is your theory?
The final impression is that you don't have idea why I got blocked to play games... I don't have idea, all they did was gave me a link... But they never explained to me what was the problem, just a link and I am suppose to read the link and try to figure out what I did wrong... At this point I wonder if the staff of the website know why I got the ban from live chess.
My theory is that when I blunder and lose the game I leave the game, usually by navigating to the Forums, it ask me if I am sure if I want to leave, and I click the button that says Leave Page... I don't really know if this is the problem but I think I got punished because when I leave the game i click the wrong button. However This can't be, If they have a JavaScript pop up window to ask me if I want to leave and I say yes, they should understand this as my Resign intention. After they code a popup window to ask me if I am abandoning the game, they can't pretend I didn't click a button confirming that I am abandoning the game... Makes sense?
However this is my theory, but I don't really know. They could have number the diferent parts of the sportsmanship code and at least give me the number of it...
As I said, poorly written code, all around.
Top it with the fact that the computer told me to play with my friends, and what I wrote in my second post about this...
