Puzzle Battle Early Start

I have noticed that in many of my puzzle battles, my clock will still be ticking down to zero; meanwhile, my opponent ends up completing at least one -- sometimes two -- puzzles before I am even allowed to start my own.

This ends up putting additional time pressure, as I am then forced to rush my moves and blunder on puzzles that I otherwise would not have missed in order to compensate for lost time.

Presumably, I cannot be the only user on this website having this problem, though I myself would not mind knowing why this happens, and what the website plans on doing about it.

Unfortunately, I cannot find any specific information in regards to this issue, and I am certain that there are other silent players out there who would appreciate having better insight into this matter.

I am bringing more attention to this thread because this happened to me today!  My opponent got a 7-point head start and it was rather defeating.  I "lost" by battle 11-15, but did I really?

C'mon Chess.com.  What's going on?!

This is still unresolved and happened to me often the last couple of days. My guess is that one can turn off the timer and start right away client-side...
