2|1 Tournament -- Couldn't Play Final Round

Hi,

I was playing a 2|1 Live Tournament, in standing list my position was 2nd. When final round begins it gives me a big message, I  quickly clicked Okay to save time, so can't remember it's content. Then I couldn't play the final round & ended as 3rd place.
The 2nd placed player lost to me earlier, I could do better if it let me play the final round. 

I would like to know why it happened?

This could have been that you were givin a final round bye because their were an odd number of players. Then you were given third place due to second place player having a better tie break score.
