At least it didn't take my rating points tho. It was weird..the time clock for both players was just flashing and it said I disconned but I know I didn't

The clients don't communicate directly. You client communicates with the Live server process, as does your opponent's. Your IP isn't exposed to your opponent so they can't kick you off.

Here I was, playing another high rated player in Live chess and for the umpteenth time, against a lot of higher rated players, I get disconnected, mid-game! No matter how much I try to refresh my screen in order to get back into the game, I'm still not able to do so! I don't care what chess.com support has to say, there are morons on here who're using disconnect programs and they should do everything that they can, to search them out and BAN them!
