Yeah, I noticed that too.
I guess the conversation after the game goes "He beat a guy that is 1299." not "He beat a guy that was 1308."
That must be how they think. IMO

I just played a guy who as 1308, the highest ranked opponent I have played and I won.My rating was then increased and his decreased to 1299 but on my stats it says "Bst Win = 1299".
Surely he was 1308 when I played him so thats the rating of my best win??
