Bug; disappearing piece

Just played live chess game where my rook became invisible and I believe it was their bishop that also disappeared. 

I've had that happen to - but as I'm usually getting destroyed I didn't mind. It does happen though... is it a my computer prob?

It's not just you; I've had pieces disappear, pieces exchanged for one of my opponents pieces (for example, my white knight suddenly looks like blacks queen and blacks queen looks my my white knight), pieces suddenly unmoveable (like it would be an illegal move) etc. This seems to occur when (not every time, of course) pressing both mouse buttons repeatedly and simultanously, and maybe dragging the cursor at the same time. It's like the Java application (it is a Java app, right?) recieves too many commands at the same time and the game glitches. Similar types of glitches are very common in older video/computer games.

happened on ipad. could even see outline of the move but not the piece

I've had this happen while playing on an iPad. Very bizarre. I hope it gets resolved, or even acknowledged, soon.

Yep still an issue. My opponents two rooks disappeared. I had to resign because it is flawed and needs to be fixed still.

Started happening to me just now in Daily games.

Good to know I'm not the only one

unplayable at the moment for me..

I logged out, did a little web surfing and logged back in.  No change.  When I finger my active games it shows the correct pieces but when I click on the game the bishop disappears.

Same here, lost quite a lot of rating cause I had to resign. No pawns showing. Nothing helps. 

I checked some random games in our matches and found only black bishops missing!?!?!?

same here. Kind of annoying when trying to solve tactics. White bishops not showing in problems:

Interestingly, the thumbnail pictures you get when you hover over the problems show the board position just fine, including the white bishops.

my whole pawn line was gone and my opponent said that he can't see his bishop

Maybe tomorrow it will be fixed?  I'm outta here.
