is there a way to cancel a premove in live chess?I've been burned too many times because of accidentally activating the premoveTongue out

No. I don't think that it is possible once you make a premove.

As long as the premove moves haven't been submitted as your actual real move, you can right click anywhere on the board away from other pieces to cancel premoves.

No, not possible on chess.com.

Other sites do allow you to cancel a premove but ONLY if your opponent hasn't moved yet. Otherwise it'd be a takeback.

yes I'm talking about when the opponent hasn't moved yet....it's a takeback otherwise as u said.
