Oh yes, I have such episodes quite frequently. I'm doing the dishes or mow the lawn or some other boring, mundane task and my mind gets carried away to my armies on the chessboard (I'm talking about Correspondence Chess).
Also, other folks prefer other games. If you love the game, enjoy your oppurtunity to share it with other like-minded people here, but don't try to "proselytize" others, because tastes are all different.
Ever Got so hooked to the game that your mind took you away? Closing your eyes and seeing a chessboard infront of you, pieces moving? I think chess should be introduced more! I love chess and think other people that miss out should too.
