Hey!  here a great thinking tech.!

I MUST SAID THAT IS INSPIRATED TO THE GREAT J.SILMAN..But with little personnal modifications (instinct move and some little more)

i said that because some one in my last post just said me in previous comment that i'm trying to take all the credit of my posts! LOL...

Before to start the steps of this tech. always ask you 4 littles crucials questions:

1-What the last move of my opponen block or liberate in the board?

2-What the plan of my opponen?

3-Witch advantage his last move give to his position?

4- Does it exist a threat on my army?

STEP 1: Evaluate the position FOR BOTH SIDE!!; (take your time on this step)

1.1- does i have some combinaisons possibilities? ( Here i have a little trick for you : If you want to know quicly if you have combinaisons possibilities just look for 3 littles things:

1-Unprotected pieces

2-Unadequately defend pieces

3-weak king protection

1.2-imbalances (minors pieces, open file, and all others kind of imbalances)

1.3-weak squares

1.4-center space

1.5-what is the best square for ALL my pieces

STEP 2: choose the defense or the attack (your choice can change later)

STEP 3: Find an instinct move (quicly and without any calculation)

STEP 4: choose wich side of the board (queenside or kingside) you want to play on. (quicly)

STEP 5: look at a specific point who is exist many attack possibilities in many camp ( do this if you choose to attack only ) (quicly)

STEP 6: Create an imaginative fantasy position where you're very powerfull (without any calculating again!) (quicly)

STEP 6: Choose 2 or 3 candidates moves (take your time on this step):            6.1 by keeping in mind all your precedent analyse of the position + 6.2 your instinct choose + 6.3 your fantasy powerfull position + 6.4 what this move will give me more for my position  + 6.5 does this move block or liberate something on board and finally + 6.6 what is the best defense against my move.

STEP 7: Make a final choice and start to calculate for THE FIRST TIME, idealy approx. 6 moves ahead for each side (for sure also take your time on this step).

STEP 8: Make a little and fast review with 2 little questions (quicly):

8.1- Does it seem to exist a better choice for me?

8.2- Does exist a defense that i didin't calculate for my opponen (try to avoid bad surprise!)

FINALLY, MAKE YOUR KILLER MOVE!

Ok, i'm sure that many of you said to yourself ... Dawm! i will lose on time if i do that!

But firstly, this kind of technic are not for blitz or fast games players, but for standars games.( minimum 15 min mat.)

And also, the step marked in green (QUICLY) are very, very fast ones, and with a little practice you will be able to do all the thinking technic really quicly.

that's it! BYE :0

Forgiven

I have been wanting some info on the "reasoning" of the game, and this is a good start- thanks.
