Just wondering 'if' thier live chess (chesspark) is better than ours, is it possible for chess.com be able to have it and use it ? A good question for the staff ?

Dozy

I've played on four sites beside this one and, of those, two folded and were taken over by other sites. They were the Kasparov CC and the World Chess Network.

Both were excellent but both were different from the site that breathed life into their lost members. (It was WCN who took over KCC when it folded and was, in turn, taken over by ICC).

Each time I made a change I had to adapt to the new site.

It's inevitable that some people will feel a bit discombobulated at first but it's par for the course and something they'll have to get used to. For instance, Sir Galahad, quoted by ArtFizz in your other post is disappointed that everything here isn't identical to everything at ChessPark. He'll realise, when he's been here for a few days, that where chess.com differs from his old site, it may well be better ... and almost certainly offers a whole lot more bang for his buck.

As to your question about whether ChessPark's live chess is better than ours, I'm inclined to say NO! (I put that in lower case then decided it need block caps and an exclamation point.)

We have an excellent site and a crew that keep making it better. If there's anything in the ChessPark software that would improve this site I'd bet heaps that Erik et al will look at it very closely.

We've got a winner right here.

Good point there Dozy I know excatly what you are saying, yes chess.com is definitely improving all the time.  Yeah i just hope that erik had alook at their live-chess ..that all. Also I am hoping that Chess.com will 'never' fold and be taken over by another website *shudder* to even to think of it !  Smile
