Connection issues

Hi Guys,

I live in Brussels and I have connection issues. I can't play live chess but just long games because I have massive connection problems (slow connection and sometimes I loose the connection as well). I tested the broadband and the result is good. I have a Mac and I use Google Chrome.

Any suggestion? Thanks!

This server SUCKS!  Why doesn't somebody put together a chess server that WORKS!

the servers are down. everyone is experiencing these issues. even me 

And come up with a pizza that they can deliver in half an hour!

the servers are under maintenance right now. it will probably be fixed in a few minutes, or maybe a few hours at most 

Because most people don't mind if the servers are down. After all, who comes to this site to play chess anyway?

nope, not quite! the servers are back up!

It's not a matter of servers crashed and having this fixed because I have this issue even now. I always have a slow connection and I can't really play live games..

Any suggestion about this?

try clearing your cache. and what browser are you using?

What is the server?

the live chess server is what connects players playing chess together.

the move you make is sent to the server, then the server sends the move to the opponent you are playing against.
