Coordinate System!

I don't have any idea why it hasn't been put in yet, or at least an option to turn it on! All you have when you're playing a game in live chess is a board with the pieces, no A-H or 1-8. When you're trying to try out new openings and such and have the notation only for them, this is difficult......Could someone hear my plea or tell me why there is no system?
