Yesterday i played a game, i had a good position, but then with a failure i clicked the 'resign' button, and i died instant! That's unfair! Please fix this. (The new version of chess.com!)

So... your suggestion is that when someone clicks the "resign" button, they shouldn't automatically resign the game?

Macer, my buddy, I know you love trolling, but can we not do it on a 2-week old thread? Cool

No! I troll anytime, anywhere, as long as I feel like it!

Well one idea is that when a person clicks on resign a little window could appear asking " Do You Wish To Resign ? Yes / No " ( and you would then click on yes or no ).

When you resign a OTB tournament game, does the TD come over to make sure youre sure you want to resign?

This is online, not OTB, and the OP accidentaly clicked a resign button. That doesn't happen OTB anyways.

How about: are you positive, after clicking on yes/no, or don't fret, take your time, take it easy he is experiencing connection issues.

---   Well I'm so very sorry but we are not all up at the Genius level such as you are Mr. Leklerk ( and you have a PHD in which field ??? and you are a Professor of _____ ??? ).

I'm not a genius hence is better for your life not to depend on me.

This argument is getting really absurd

But it's easy to misclick on something, especially if you have a small screen.  Not so easy to shout 'I resign' without thinking very often (unless you're Nigel Farage).
