Don't you think there are tactical vision problem with 3d board?

There's a reason why computer chess uses flat rendition of chessboards. They are simply easier to handle than these "3D" boards. Why you struggle with what you're showing us you are using is that the board is merely a 2D rendition of a set of 3D objects.
I'm sure it doesn't help that in the set you're using the difference between white and black is slight.
I switched to the 3D Wood pieces in live chess as shown above to practice the way i do things in otb board. Because if i play with classical pieces here and then when i play with otb board pieces somewhere i become confused and it takes much time to adjust board switching(especially if i play otb tour). But in live chess i am experiencing some vision problems with these 3D wood pieces because of its being 3d type in 2 dimensional board, look like pieces occupied all of the board and scattered, so my tactics and calculation not being 100% good, but if i use classical pieces things are much better in 2D board here. what about you ? any suggestions to overcome this problem? i used 3D staunton pieces but those pieces are worse than 3D wood in this respect.
footnote: these 3d wood pieces is perfect for practice like otb, so i am not gonna leave it because of my problems of switching.
