Here's an idea

Here's an idea for live chess. Instead of having to go into a seperate room, it works like regular online chess except for when you create a challenge you can make the time control 1 minute to 1 hour like you do on live chess. This will cut down on the number of disconects and disgrunteled members. For thoes types of games, no vacation time allowed.

members don't get vacation time for live chess :)

There's two thoughts I'm getting here:

1. You are saying time control is 1 minute or 1 hour per move, in which case it won't be live chess

2. You are saying total time is 1 minute, but there is no way to make it more like online chess then it already is. There's two things branching off this thought:

1. The page refreshes after every move, in which case it either won't be     real time, or it will be like it is.

2. The live chess people will have separate "live chess" games going on, so             in which case the staff would have a separate "room" for every single     game, which takes a lot of effort.

Sorry to shoot down your idea, it was a good thought, but it would take too much effort and time it sounds like. Finding a way for a better connection is best.

just play a turn based game fast. I did one with seejaydee.

The next best thing to live chess,would be if u had it turn based like mathew11 said and make it 1 to 10 minutes.
