How often do you find brilliant moves?

Using the insights feature, I saw that I get brilliant moves around 0.4% of the time. I was just wondering about the average.

Whenever I use my analysis for a day on right game

It has the option to show the average of players with *similar rating*, not sure what it means. Also I thought the number seemed low, so I wanted to ask others

It comes in waves. Sometimes I'll play all day and only get 1 or 2 total, and then some other times I'll play roughly the same amount of games, but seemingly get like 1 or 2 brilliant moves every game.

Think the most I've had in one game was 4.

I thought this was about online live chess.

I find brilliant moves right after I play bad ones. I then hope they don't catch it. I've not used the insights.

It depends on your opinion. A 400 rated player who did not hang a piece is a brilliant move

I make about 1 brilliant every day

But 1-2 days a week I make more than 3

My average is 0.1% but that is the move quality "overall" tab. If you click two tabs to the right, there is "similar player" which tells you the average of players around your rating.

I'm starting to get them in daily games. When I finish one of them I'll post it here.

I had analyzed the position after Black's move 53 blunder except my analysis had Black's 56th and 57th moves transposed. I played my analyzed line and missed the easy win with 57 Nf3+ that Black's 56th/57th transposition allowed. Missing that easy shot is what allowed my 58th move to be considered brilliant but it would have felt more deserving of the label if Black had played the correct transposition.
