Live is not supported anymore. Blitz is a bit too quick for noobs sometimes. How can I play rapid?

StumpyBlitzer

You can still go to play and live chess and set up a game with time control you want.

@StumpyBlitzer after writing that, I see that it is unclear what is blitz vs rapid vs bullet. There is different information over the duration of each on Fide/Chess.com/Wikipedia etc. (really confusing) x_x

You've been playing 10 min rapid games. Rapid is 10 min or longer.

The preset rapid time controls on chess.com are 10 min, 20 min, 15+10, 30 min, 45+45, and 60 min.

Thank you. So it is not the same time everywhere? It differs from Fide/Chess.com etc?

FIDE has its own definitions for the different time controls (10-60 minutes for rapid).
