Is it possible to play at Chess.com using the iPad's web browser?

When I tried to move the pieces using my index finger the iPad's internet browser moved the entire page instead of the pieces.

I have been losing games due to running out of time because moves simply take more time to make accurately. I also have tried to make a single move of a pawn and ended up on the fourth rank and vice versatile. For me, I am going to be playing longer games than if I had the use of a mouse. I like the pad otherwise and maybe a Bluetooth mouse might work.

I have recently found that wiping the screen just before playing will yield more reliable moves from one square to another instead of having to sometimes repeat the move a few times
