I believe it's the ads. On The-Site-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named, I'm getting almost perfect connection on 1|0 games. Compared to here, where I was assured [basically] of a win [20 seconds to 5], I had to fight and rely on the fact that my opponent missed a mate in 1.
For those blaming it on traffic:
You-Know-Who: 15,543 games, 37,344 players: almost 0 lag
Chess.com: 17,613 games, 62,033 players: 10-15 seconds lost [IN A BULLET GAME] [THIS IS 25% OF MY TIME]
You-Know-Who: 15,543 games
Chess.com: 17,613 games
please read before stating
yes but 15 seconds in a bullet game
that's like a guaranteed loss

I think it might be the ads too. When you get a subscription does it get rid of all ads? I did notice that when I got mine, a laggy issue - where the moves sometimes "stutter" as they are played - has been pretty much resolved.
However I still think the lag in general is still a bit troublesome. I don't know whether this is the server's issue or the players I've been playing against.
