Tired of people playing me on my time

Why is there not a claim win button when I capture all of my opponents pieces in a game? Especially in a tournament, this should be an option if I have enough pieces to win easily. Depending on the time control and the amount of time remaining, this is legal to do in a FIDE tournament when there is no delay. I often have 1 minute left and have captured all of my opponents pieces in a 5 minute tournament, yet cannot mate quickly enough because I still have to promote and have an absurd amount of pieces that the opponent king can hide behind. Can this please be added under certain piece counts, while obviously also considering the amount of time left compared to the time control? In positions like that it can be hard for some players, who could easily win with enough time, but stress causes them to not be able to apply mating and endgame methods. Why is this legal in FIDE tournaments but not on here? Note that I am not talking about just a pawn, as there is no arbitrator that can review the position. But with a bunch of pieces including a queen or two rooks vs just a king, I should be allowed to claim a win depending on how much time I have left.

FIDE? Where? Online? I don't believe you.

If you have a minute left and can't mate, you deserve giving the draw.

Please give us a link to the page in the FIDE rule book where this is detailed. Or at least tell us where you were allowed to do that.

There would be little need for the 50 move rule then.

There is always the chance that you could stalemate, or flag.

No point in 59 move rule, like autobunny said

Are you suggesting that there should be a "Claim Win" button for when you can't win on your own? That seems kind of silly

Once again an op deleted his op and made someone else look like an idiot .  When will chess.com fix this?

On the other hand, it was a pretty foolish post, so he may have simply thought better of it

Speaking of idiots, I'm new to Chess.com and was losing badly but couldn't figure how to resign.  How to resign a blitz game?

There is a resign button. It looks like a

flag.

I found it...you just have to pull the screen up far enough to get to it.

I was trying to "tip" my king.
