Aaah... Okey back to the point. Anonimnmous internet has bias effects, like not say hi before a game. End of story then

In this world of Anonymous Youtube comments etc, people just don't give a danm about being nice to a stranger. They do not see the benefit of  "everyone contribute to makingn the world nice".
I noticed in Asia while driving they are rude. Example:
In Europe you flash light to say "please go first"
In Asia they flash light to say " Don't you dare I won't stop"

Human people tend to become rude when we are in a mass population. Like on internet.
It like "everyone is on his own" make your mark, stand your ground.
It's sad.

Absolutely wrong

Well the car light code is like this in Thailand... I just noticed.
And when a group of people are blocking the middle of the market alley guess who? LOL
I am not racist okey I'm african, we are also target. But so;e cultural caracters are real.
THe caracter of internet, the MAIN ONE is an anonymous activity. No accountabilibily.
Be rude and get away with it.
On the street you might get a remark and lose face or get a slap, but not on internet.
That is what I mean.
It's a fact. Cannot be wrong

Your point about the internet and how people behave on the platform due to anonymity is true. But still there's nothing you got to prove that Asians are rude , (or people are more rude in real life when in large populations)

OK I apologize for that remark. Let's say they have different way to behave when it's crownded than for example Europe. I am French I lived 13 years in THailand.
The point was not about that anyway I want to talk about anonymous internet. Sometimews I am for and sometimes I am against.

Just like polluting and wasting energy, what people do at home we cannot control and some people are just acting very disrespectfully to everyone else.

Sorry for Asia. I love Asia, ;y wife and son are Asian...

Sure no worries. I get your point . 😊

I disable chat simply because I dont want to chat. If my opponent is kind enough to finish the game I say good game, no matter the outcome. Seems like a strange thing to get upset about but thats just my opinion. Maybe Im too new at this to understand the issue.

In order for a game to be good it has to fulfil two of three things:

It has to be close, stomps are no fun to play or watch (unless you really hate the person being stomped); There was some sort of daring, unorthodox or thought out play that you don't get at first until it all comes together or makes that particular game stand out(it doesn't have to succeed, just as long as it's not completely stupid); It was an entertaining game (either because there was some kind of banter between players, or because it's part of a rivalry or something along those lines).

If it doesn't fulfil two of these conditions I won't say "gg" because to me it won't mean as much when I actually say "gg". And if you say it I'll just think you're being a prick trying play the 'good sportsmanship' card and I will call you out for it.

But by disabling chat, I can skip that problem entirely.

Not sure what the "Good Sportsmanship Card" is.  I hope you will be okay though.

Best Wishes

+1. When winning, one just shut it up.

Not super on-topic but: If someone is talking to you in such a way that it breaks one of our rules, please consider reporting them! It helps

Please remember that in the forum guidelines it is stated that accusations of that kind are not allowed.

Dont turn off chat at the minimum restrict it to friends only

The only time I disabled chat was when I accidentally swore in chat when I blundered massively. Not at the person but at myself for being stupid. I was pretty embarrassed but thankfully they understood I wasn't trying to swear at them.

I have some wonderful chats with people, win or lose, and we become friends. I congratulate them on their cunning moves.  If I win, I tell them riveting game and that I was freaked most of the time they are so good. The funniest thing I ever experienced, recently,  because I don’t chat during a game, was a distractor. The first one to ever do it was someone I’m now friends with. “Watching the impeachment?”  I’m a political junkie so OMG and laughed so hard but didn’t answer until after game was over.  But about a week later, I was playing a person that every time I made a move they’d yawn or Zzz emoji me. Every fricking move. I couldn’t stop laughing it was so transparent. But I never responded -then proceeded to kick his butt. Then I answered, “I guess you yawned a wee bit too much.”
