I've analyzed throughout this, but when white loses the tempo, it will end to checkmate for white. White's attack was failed; but maybe a better move could been Rxf7+ Nxf7 Qg6+ Kh8 Lf6#
No. Rxf7 does not check the king. After Nxf7 Qg6+. Qg6+ would be countered by Qxg6.
