Pawn permanently glitched to different square

i have had a similar glitch. i haven't had it in the longest time and i don't know what causes it
Can you try clearing your browser's cookie and cache to see if this solves the issue? Usually issues like this are caused by not clearing your cache for a while.

this just happened to me recently. it happened with a glitched knight permanently on a square rather than a pawn. i doubt the issue is caused by not clearing a cache. it's usually only a one-time issue, when you log in again, it is usually normal. i think it is a programming run-time glitch from the server end.
Earlier I had a first in live chess. Was playing a 15/10 game and on the second move I played d6, but the pawn appeared on e3 instead. I couldnt move the pawn at all and even when my opponent played Be3 my pawn was still there over his piece. Reviewing the game, everything looks normal but playing was a real headache. Not posting to complain, just reporting a rare issue.
